What Others Have Said About Partnering
As far as their competition, I’m personally not aware of anyone else who can do the full extent of what ETI does…there’s no comparison as far as taking care of their customers in terms of support and flexibility. Most focus on ‘can they meet a quota’. ETI focuses on how they can help their customers reach their goals and expand their business.
I’d like to think of them as a collaborator. I’ve gotten more tech support and support in the field; it’s more than any other company I’ve worked with.
I rely on ETI to make me look good, and they do. They help me know certain things, and it’s ‘you’re owning this with me.’ My team of vendors is what makes me successful.
ETI isn’t in the equipment business, but they formed buying groups for us to give us access and better discounts.
They’ve always said ‘we’re not your blender, we’re your distributor. We’re back-up and support.’ There are 3 of us here, and we’re a small company. But we can compete. We can perform just as well and often better, and we’re lighter on our feet.
Others don’t do it the way ETI does it. Others are mainly toll blenders and don’t develop new products. ETI helps troubleshoot, they can make suggestions to me, and they provide lab services.
There’s such a difference working with ETI than my past national water supplier. There’s such a wider variety of products available to me, like different strengths or concentrations. I have flexibility now that I didn’t have before.

What Others Have Said About Our Expertise
In the short time we’ve worked together–it’s been a few years–they’ve been very responsive and they’ve delivered. I’m better at what I do now because of them. I’ve learned more and I appreciate that. I can turn to them and say ‘what’s going on with…’ and they’re straight shooters.
Their support is nothing less than top shelf. They provide the technical expertise. They had the transportation stuff all figured out with the Department of Transportation, the EPA, the FDA, the labeling.
You’re talking to a satisfied customer! There’s a (different) local company, and they’re schmucks–they’re very poor technically. I would consider changing any vendor to improve my business, but ETI would be the last I’d consider (changing).

What Others Have Said About Our Training
I went to my first (training) this spring, but the other guys have gone to others. I’ve done this for so long I don’t find a lot of new things, but I came away with a half dozen different items instead of the one thing I expected (to learn). That’s outstanding.
They really have the pulse of what’s going on. I don’t always have the means to attend the AWT events, but they go and then filter back what we need. We get the condensed and usable version, the Cliff Notes, the recipe, which is all I need.
ETI is extremely helpful with technical information. I’m trying to keep up with a lot of things right now. They’re the ones coming up with new things and then showing it to me.
