ETI Announces New Technical Director
Morgantown, PA, April 4, 2016 - ETI (Eastern Technologies Inc.) is proud to announce Stephen P. Wood as Technical Director. In this position, Steve will oversee assessment and integration of new technologies and be responsible for marketing, distributor sales support, and new sales development. Working closely with ETI's growing distributor network, Steve will lead the drive for technical excellence and innovative water treatment solutions.
A graduate of State University of New York (SUNY) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Steve has over 25 years of industry experience in field service and sales, technical support, and applications lab support. He has the unique advantage of having worked as a water treatment service provider and as an industrial end-user. Currently living in southern New Jersey, he will be relocating to the Greater Reading area.
ETI Promotes Doug Flick to Product Manager, Technical Team
January, 2016 - ETI is proud to announce the addition of Doug Flick, Product Manager, to their technical team. As Product Manager, Doug manages ETI's existing product lines. He optimizes product offerings, strengthens customer application support and helps ETI continue to develop leading edge technologies.
Doug has over 20 years of experience at ETI with a wealth of product line knowledge and customer relationships. A graduate of Delaware Valley University, College of Science & Agriculture, he resides in Chester County.
ETI Hires Tracy Gresh, New Customer Service Specialist
May, 2015 - Tracy Gresh joined ETI as a Customer Service Specialist. She previously worked as a Customer Service Specialist for Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., Allentown, PA, for 26 years, and prior to that was a Customer Service Representative with Knoll International, East Greenville, PA, for 4 years.
A graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School, Boyertown, PA, and The Wilma Boyd School of Travel in Pittsburgh, PA, Tracy worked for Air Jamaica and traveled extensively.

ETI Hires Mike Knoll, Maintenance Manager
September, 2014 - Mike Knoll joined ETI as Maintenance Manager, and his role includes preventative maintenance on the equipment and building as well as assisting with shipping and receiving.
Prior to joining our team, Mike worked for Fleetwood Fixtures and Saint Catherine's of Sienna School. His experience includes warehouse supervision, dock facility maintenance and dispatch management. Mike is a graduate of Reading-Muhlenberg Vo-Tech and Muhlenberg High School in Reading, PA.
ETI Hires Liz Vaughan, QC/QA Chemist
April, 2014 - Elizabeth Vaughan officially joined ETI in April as QC/QA Chemist, although she's been part of our team on a part-time basis since August, 2013.
Graduating from Eastern University with a BS in Chemistry in May, 2013, Liz worked as a laboratory manager and research assistant during all four years of college and was President of the Chemistry Club which did regular community outreach.
Upgraded Lab Facilities
January, 2014 - We regularly upgrade our analytical capabilities to better serve our customer base. ETI is currently gearing up to provide instrumentation that will expand the analytes we can test as well as test with improved accuracy. We continue to provide water, deposit and corrosion coupon analysis to our full portfolio customers.
ETI Hires Stephanie Giddens, Customer Service Team Leader
January, 2014 - Stephanie Giddens joined the ETI team as Customer Service Team Leader. She supervisors the customer service team and provides support services to all of our customers and distributors. As part of the leadership team, she helps to drive and maintain our customer service excellence.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Albright College, Reading, PA. Previously with First Energy/Met-Ed and WorleyParsons, her experience includes customer service, billing, administrative support and supervision.

ETI Hires Rose Derespina, Lab Technician
July, 2013 - Roseanne Derespina joined ETI as Lab Technician. She previously worked at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center as a rehabilitation aide and Reading Area Community College as a receptionist. A graduate of RACC with an Associate Degree in Science, she was on the Dean's List in 2011 and the President's List in 2010. Roseanne is currently working on her wastewater certification.
Deb Stoudt Retires After 25-Year Career with ETI
July, 2013 - Deb Stoudt joined the ETI team as a lab technician in February, 1988, and retired as manager of Laboratory Services in July, 2013. Over her 25-year tenure, her role evolved from technician to quality control/quality assurance, all chemist responsibilities, training new technicians and managing the department. Deb will be missed, and she plans to spend her retirement owning and operating a farm in South Carolina.
A Successful Showing at the 2011 AWT Convention
Over three days in mid-September, ETI exhibited at the 2011 Annual AWT Convention and Expo at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, GA. With close to 1,000 attendees, ETI engaged with current customers and introduced potential customers to their full line of products and services. This was the second venue that ETI exhibited at, having consistently attended the annual AWT shows since they were founded in 1986. The golf theme of this year's exhibit was a big hit with attendees, and ETI's promotional mugs and chocolate golf balls won "best of show" accolades from the AWT convention team.
ETI Announces New Technical Advisor
October 10, 2011 - ETI is proud to announce the addition of Jeffrey M. Wilson as Technical Advisor. In this role, Jeff will provide technical support services to our customers and growing network of distributors. He will be working closely with Dave Ritz, Technical Director, to help to continue to drive technical excellence and innovative water treatment solutions.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University as well as an MBA from Houston University. He has over 30 years of industry experience, and he most recently managed the Central and Western PA water treatment division for the Trane Corporation. Jeff and his wife Sue currently reside in the Pittsburgh area.

ETI was founded in 1986 by the principals of three independent water treatment service companies who had a shared vision of creating a support entity to complement their organizations. The owners envisioned a supporting structure that would allow them to be at their best for their customers. Twenty-five years later, that model continues to successfully drive ETI's operation in 2011. We offer first rate production, a complete portfolio of house and custom formulations, in-house and field support, training, laboratory and regulatory support, and a customer service staff to process orders accurately and professionally. Our strength comes from experience gained in supporting those three original companies and what has grown to a network of over thirty distributor partner companies with a total customer base of more than 150 businesses.
New Training Facility Unveiled
One of ETI's long standing commitments to the industry is the on-going training and experience sharing between our distributors. Additionally, we are committed to training our distributors' new hires who may be new to the water treatment industry or new to the ETI distributor network. The new training area is a renovated 3,200 square foot space that underscores our long term commitment to training and continuous improvement.
Distributor of the Year Award
In April, 2011, Albemarle presented ETI with their Distributor of the Year Award for the third time. The basis for this annual award are leadership, performance and support, and ETI is very proud to be recognized for their on-going partnership with Albemarle. The award was presented during an ETI employee appreciation luncheon. President Gary Reggiani thanked Albemarle and comments that "this award reflects the commitment of our ETI employees to excellence in serving our customers, supporting our suppliers and taking a proactive role in ensuring product stewardship is maintained throughout the distribution channel."
Dave Ritz Promoted to Technical Director
As of January 3, 2011, ETI announces the promotion of David B. Ritz to Technical Director. In this new position, Dave will oversee assessment and integration of new technologies and be responsible for technical and sales support, marketing, and new sales development. Working with ETI's growing distributor network, Dave will continue to drive technical excellence and innovative water treatment solutions.
A graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree, Dave has 25 years of industry experience. He joined the ETI team in December, 2005, as Technical Advisor.
